mason software package provides Interactively creates a Linux packet filtering firewall, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mason
mason is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mason package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mason *
You will get with mason package name, version, architecture and description in a table
